Key Responsibilities: ? Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures by preparing animals, equipment, and medications. ? Monitor the vital signs of animals and report any changes to the veterinarian. ? Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. ? Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations, under the supervision of a veterinarian. ? Provide compassionate care to animals, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their visit. ? Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and post-treatment care for their pets. ? Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients. ? Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilizing instruments and maintaining equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications: ? Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician with an active certification. ? Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program. ? Proven experience as a Certified Veterinary Technician in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting. ? Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common diseases. ? Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team. ? Compassion for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care. ? Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. ? Physical ability to lift and restrain animals and perform other tasks that require strength and stamina.
